Actress Lupita Nyong’o has become a force to be reckoned with since her heart wrenching performance as Patsey in the film “12 Years a Slave”. The role earned her a 2014 Academy Award and much deserved recognition and praise in Hollywood. Lupita wearing her “Nairobi Blue” custom made Prada gown

The “Nairobi Blue” hue of Lupita’s custom made Prada gown at the Academy Awards also benefits from Lupita’s beauty. Lupita said that she chose the light blue color because it reminds her of her home in Kenya. The heavenly blue gown fit her perfectly, with pleating at the plunging V-neck and on the ethereal skirt, which had sparkly piping throughout. She then completed the look with gold jewelry and a dainty headband.  Absolute perfection.
